I don't know about the rest of teachers my age but I don't like to read anything lengthy from a computer screen, ipod, or pda but my students are used to doing everything online! I haven't tried a Kindle yet ... maybe that would be better.
The two sites that I found to be the best were: http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog/ and http://manybooks.net/. World Public Library always asked me for a username and password so I just went elsewhere.

I can't read anything lengthy from a screen either. I have to print it. I like my paper! I have grown to like books on CD, but I still prefer the written word. It is great to have the option I suppose, but it's not my first choice for reading. It will be very interesting to watch this generation of kids growing up with so much technology. Everyone is so "plugged in." I wonder how and if that will affect the written word.
